CULTURAL AND FESTIVE DAY
-Camel story
- Large tent of the national tourist office of Mauritania with its dates and its tea, its films on its tourist heritage, its traditional jewelry artisans, its camel guides accompanied by the dromedaries Sana & her little Christal d'Atar and Suhail saddled with the great mythical Mauritanian saddle
• French Team of the French Camel Federation
• European Camel Breeders Ranch Team (ECROA), Dromas Association, Dromedaries of Picardy, Camélidéo and Big Iwan
• Camel tourist and sports activities accompanied by the dromedaries of Fay
• Project for participation in camel races 2023 - 2024 on French and European racecourses (Mauritania, Tunisia, Middle East).

• Camel milk and soaps with the company Camel'idée
• Exposure
• Educational
• Photographic on the team of dromedary jockeys participating in the racecourses of France and in the camel racing marathon of the Douz festival in Tunisia by the association Camélomanes et Dromas
• With the participation of Cap'No, residents of the districts of the city of Laon and partner associations:
• Traditional West African percussion, djembes, balafon, singing, saxhorn with the group Africa Took (Soissons workshop) and Guinean singer + traditional instrument
• Oriental dance performances and demonstrations with Shams danse and initiations with Zumbandco
• Archery initiation provided by the company Le Quiquois d'Argent
• Catering provided by the Senegalese restaurant Sama Keur Yaay with the African association of Laon
• Drinks and oriental pastries stand by teenagers and families from the neighborhood
• Entertainment and stands: makeup, henna, infusions, tents, outfits, raffle, creative workshops
• Drawings and games for children on the theme of camels
• Opening of the neighborhood media library with books and West African music available
• These stands are built and co-hosted with the residents of Laon, Thiérache, Cap'No volunteers and local associations
• Goodies, gifts, and camel rides will be up for grabs during the day.

• Inauguration with officials and speeches:
• - Mayor of Laon – President of the urban community of Pays de Laon
• - Mr. Mohamed Salem Bontemps European Representative of the National Office of Mauritania
• - Mr. Philipponneau President of the French Camel Federation and of the board of directors of ECROA European Camel Ranch Owners Association
•Presence of the local press “l’union” which will cover the event and a cameraman from the BZN team to capture images presenting the organization.
These stands are built and co-hosted by the residents of Laon, Thiérache and Cap'No volunteers.
The partnership and commitment of volunteers are the driving forces behind this action.
